James was walking along the street yesterday evening. He was on his way to his friend Kumar’s house. As he strolled past a clump of trees, he saw a beehive hanging from a tree branch. A very naughty idea came to him. He picked up a small stone and threw it at the beehive.
Needless to say, the bees were fuming mad. They buzzed out of their hive and chased the silly boy. James took to his heels. As he ran, he tripped over a log and landed on the ground with a painful thud. He was stung mercilessly by the angry bees.
He picked himself up with haste and ran towards the nearby pond. As soon as he reached the pond, he quickly jumped into the water. He did not get out of the water until the swarm of bees left. After his painful lesson, James promised himself never to disturb any more beehives in the future.
