One day, Sally received an invitation card from May. May was celebrating her birthday with a party. She was going to be eight years old.
The next afternoon after school, Sally went to the toy store to buy a present for her friend. She bought a pretty Barbie doll, and the shop assistant helped her to wrap it up beautifully.
On the day of the party, Sally went to May’s house. When she saw May, she gave the present to her. There were lots of food and the children ate until their stomachs felt like bursting. They played some balloon games before May cut her birthday cake. Everyone had a big slice while the birthday girl had two!
