Yusof is a helpful boy. He is always helping his mother with the house chores.
Last Sunday, he decided to clean the ceiling fan all by himself. He took the ladder out from the storeroom. After carefully positioning it under the fan, he climbed up the steps. He had almost finished his task when he slipped and fell off the ladder. He bumped his head hard against the marble floor. He started to cry.
His mother heard him crying and ran to find what had happened. She was alarmed to see blood on her son’s head. Snatching a clean towel from the closet, she gently pressed it against the injury to stop the bleeding. Then she brought him to see the doctor.
The doctor cleaned Yusof’s wound and bandaged his head. He kindly advised Yusof to be more careful while performing house chores in the future. “What a nice doctor,” Yusof thought to himself. He thanked the doctor before he left the consultation room.
