Tigger the tiger dreamt about living on a farm. He thought life would be a breeze if he didn’t have to hunt for food. He imagined how good it was to have fat chickens and ducks to eat every day.
One day, he was passing by a farm and saw an ox resting in the barn. It was eating hay. He thought the ox had it good.
The next afternoon, he saw the ox working hard in the field. It was toiling under the hot sun. Later that evening, he saw the same ox pulling a heavy cart. Although the ox was feeling tired, it was not allowed to rest.
From that day onwards, Tigger did not want to live on the farm anymore. It ran back into the forest. He realised that it was better to be free in the forest than to be a slave on the farm.
