A Mischievous Monkey

My father was driving his lorry to a fruit stall last week.  He had a cargo of fruits at the back of the lorry.  When he stopped at a road junction, a monkey jumped onto the lorry from a tree by the roadside.

The monkey was very delighted to see a sumptuous feast.  It was hungry, so it grabbed a bunch of ripe bananas and started on his feast.  After peeling off the skin, it carelessly threw the banana peel onto the road.  It was surely having the time of its life.

When my father arrived at his destination, he got off the lorry to unload his goods.  He was very surprised to see a monkey with a bulging stomach among the fruits, fast asleep.  The greedy monkey had eaten a big basket of Father’s bananas!

About Katherine

Just a female who has time to do a bit of pondering and musing. Otherwise, I am on an interesting journey down the path to being a senior citizen.
