Mom brought me to the shops to buy a pair of rollerblades one afternoon. After trying on a few pairs, I finally settled on a blue pair. Mom also bought me elbow pads, knee guards and a helmet. After she paid for our purchases, I proudly carried my new sport gear home.
That evening, Mom and I went to the park. She patiently taught me how to rollerblade. It was very difficult at first. I held tightly onto Mom for balance. Although I kept falling on my behind, I did not give up. It was slow going but I managed to learn how to rollerblade that day.
