A Rainy Day

By Kimberly C. (6 years old)

It is a rainy day.  The thunder roars across the sky and the rain falls pitter-patter onto the ground.  The pedestrians need umbrellas to cover themselves.  They are dry but the dustbin by the roadside is as wet as a drowned rat.

After a while, the rain stops.  A beautiful rainbow appeared in the sky.  Down below, puddles are everywhere on the ground.  The children come running out of their houses to play in the puddles.  Some mothers push their babies in the strollers.  They are all enjoying the crisp air after the rain.

About Katherine

Just a female who has time to do a bit of pondering and musing. Otherwise, I am on an interesting journey down the path to being a senior citizen.
