Aladdin’s Lamp

By Mr. X (5 years old)

A long time ago, a boy named Aladdin lived alone with his mother in Persia.  One day, a stranger came to visit Aladdin.  The stranger was an evil magician. He asked Aladdin to go to a cave to bring a lamp to him.  Aladdin agreed and so, he went to the cave.  He found the lamp under a fruit tree but was trapped in the cave.

Aladdin was afraid.  He sat down and rubbed the lamp.  Suddenly, a giant came out of the lamp.  He was a genie and he could grant any wish of the person who rubbed the magic lamp.  Aladdin commanded the genie to take him home and the genie obeyed.

Aladdin became rich and he married a princess.  One day, the magician tricked the princess into selling him the magic lamp.  He then ordered the genie to carry Aladdin’s palace and wife to Africa.

Aladdin gave some poisoned wine to the princess.  She gave it to the magician who drank and fell to floor, dead.  The genie carried the palace, Aladdin and his princess back home to Persia.  They lived happily ever after.
