Never Play with Matches

Whenever Sebastian was asked to write, he would freeze and after a long while, confessed, “I don’t know how.”  With much encouragement, he is beginning to take baby steps to write.  Keep it up, Sebastian!

Never Play with Matches
By Sebastian S. (8 years old)

Ben and Abel were alone at home yesterday.  Ben became bored and started to play with the matches.  A gust of wind blew a burning piece of paper towards the curtain and it caught fire.

The fire grew bigger and bigger.  Their neighbour saw their house on fire and quickly called the fire department.  The firemen came and put out the fire.  Naughty Ben learned never to play with fire again in the future.

About Katherine

Just a female who has time to do a bit of pondering and musing. Otherwise, I am on an interesting journey down the path to being a senior citizen.
