“Julie the Dog” was written after watching this “Mexican couple” dancing.

Julie the Dog

Julie is a dog.  She is a very clever dog.  She knows how to dance very well and she dances with her master, Bob.

They usually dance at the public square.  They can dance mambo very well and they are perfect dancing partners for each other.  Many passers-by stop to watch them.  The crowd claps their hands loudly after their performance.

My Pet

I have a pet dog.  I named it Patches because it has patches of white on its black body.  When we brought it home last year, it was still a puppy.  Patches loves to chew on meaty bones and play throw and fetch with me while I like to take it to the park for walks.

During the day, Patches guards our house.  When strangers come around, he barks loudly at them.  At night, Patches sleeps in the kennel.  I love Patches very much and he loves me too!

About Katherine

Just a female who has time to do a bit of pondering and musing. Otherwise, I am on an interesting journey down the path to being a senior citizen.
