A Nightmare

Yi Hong watched a horror movie last night.  The movie was very scary.  It was about a ghost.  He went to bed after the movie and had a horrifying nightmare.  Poor Yi Hong woke up screaming.  He told himself never to watch horror movies again.

Almost Drowned

ImageIt was a beautiful day at the beach.  There were lots of people there.  The lifeguard warned them not to swim too far out to the sea.  Unfortunately, a young boy did not listen.  He became tired and struggled to remain afloat. The alert lifeguard quickly swam to rescue him.  The boy regretted his foolish action and promised not to do so again.

A Day at the Beach

Last Sunday, my family and Theodore’s family went to the beach together.  It was a sunny day.  Theodore and I were building a huge sandcastle when heavy clouds began to darken the sky.  Soon, it began to rain heavily.  Everyone rushed to take cover. I felt like crying when the rain washed away my beautiful sandcastle.  My day at the beach was spoilt!

An Animal Lover

David loves animals.  One morning, he went for a stroll in the park nearby his house.  He saw a dog that had fallen into a drain.  He rescued it from a watery grave and brought it home.  A week later, he found a lost kitten under a park bench and took it Imagehome too.

He was walking home from school one afternoon when he came upon a nestling on the ground.  It had tumbled down from its nest up in the tree.  The tree was too high for David to climb, so he picked up the poor nestling and carried it home.  He had three pets now.

About Katherine

Just a female who has time to do a bit of pondering and musing. Otherwise, I am on an interesting journey down the path to being a senior citizen.
